After moving next to Big Finn Hill and St. Edwards Parks and seeing the mountain biking scene in the area, I was reminded of my days as a kid when I would ride my bike around Matthews Beach.  This led to getting my first "real" mountain bike (meaning not from a department store).  

 

Shortly after enjoying the time on the new bike, a discussion with my uncle and cousins lead to joining them on the Seattle to Portland (STP) ride.  After completing the STP 1-day twice, I now enjoy challenging myself a little more with racing.
